Fri Sep 28th - Using isometric paper to draw 3D shapes.
LESSON OBJECTIVE: Practising drawing 3d onjects on Isometric Paper
SUCCESS CRITERIA: You will be able to draw 3D shapes and drawings on isometric paper
ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITY: Look at thee 3D Drawings to get some inspiration for your own 3D drawing

LESSON: Students who were struggling to draw objects have to copy the shapes that I have pre drawn on isometric paper.
For those who have drawn opbjects correctly anbd are comfortable with drawing 3D objects on isometric paper can have a free rein to create their own 3D picture on a clean piece of isometric paper.

Hand out isometric paper, go through drawing differetn size cubes, then different size quadrilaterals.
Have a go at these tasks - Use coulrs to shade in your shape to make it more 3D

Mon 17th Sep - More work on Properties of Qudrilaterals
LEARNING OBJECTIVE: To understand how to differentiate between quadrilaterals by considering their properties
SUCCESS CRITERIA: You will be able to list the properties of all quadrilaterals and be able to recognise a quadrilateral by its properties.
ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITY: Draw a rectangle and a parallelogram.
List all the properties that they have that are the same
LESSON: Work through this Lesson.
Now Hand out blank Properties of Quadrilaterals sheets and a sheet of Properties.
In The Shape Column draw a picture of each of the different shapes listed.
In the other four columns you have to select which of the properties belongs to each shape in each column. They are not all different
PLENARY: Checking Answers, use 'What am I game.. ' for 10 mins at end of lesson to check understanding, ask for feedback from students.
