SUCCESS CRITERIA: You will be able to represent 3D shapes using isometric paper

ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITY: Watch these videos - video1, video2

LESSON: 
Hand out isometric paper, go through drawing differetn size cubes, then different size quadrilaterals.

Have a go at these tasks - Use coulrs to shade in your shape to make it more 3D

1. Draw a 3D letter T
2. Draw a 3D letter E
4. Draw your name (or nickname) in 3D letters

Try and draw these shapes on isometric paper

EXTENSION: Create your own 3D picture (like the video) on Isometric paper.

It would be nice to make a display of these pictures.

PLENARY: Checking student work around room whilst working. Stopping whole group where necessary.
