Mon 17th Sep - More work on Properties of Qudrilaterals

LEARNING OBJECTIVE: To understand how to differentiate between quadrilaterals by considering their properties

SUCCESS CRITERIA: You will be able to list the properties of all quadrilaterals and be able to recognise a quadrilateral by its properties.

ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITY: Draw a rectangle and a parallelogram.

List all the properties that they have that are the same

LESSON: Work through this Lesson.

Now Hand out blank Properties of Quadrilaterals sheets and a sheet of Properties.

In The Shape Column draw a picture of each of the different shapes listed.

In the other four columns you have to select which of the properties belongs to each shape in each column. They are not all different
PLENARY: Checking Answers, use 'What am I game.. ' for 10 mins at end of lesson to check understanding, ask for feedback from students.
